 | AMHS Top Batter Trophy Won by Cellan Saturday, April 1st, 1972 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 17 Pat Cellan has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Erie HS Steeldogs star can enjoy the numbers he put up in March, which have garnered him the nod as the American High School Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .454 average with 3 home runs, 40 RBIs and 35 runs scored. For the year Cellan is batting .432 with 3 home runs. |   |
