 | 5-for-6 Game for Densford Friday, April 24th, 1970 New Britain HS shortstop Brian Densford had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Brick HS Westerners at Tide Ballpark as the Alleycats picked up a 8-4 victory. "He was patient up there today," New Britain HS skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Densford has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Brian Densford singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
