 | AMHS Player of the Week Selected Monday, April 3rd, 1972 So far in his young career, Harry Adams has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American High School in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 16-year-old Freeport Senior HS Pretzels first baseman hit at a torrid .559 clip as he collected 19 hits in 34 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year Adams is batting .394 with 5 home runs. He has scored 43 runs and driven in 47. |   |
