 | Hitting Streak Still Alive for Janousek Wednesday, April 5th, 1972 Matt Janousek's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Bethlehem HS. The 18-year-old shortstop extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-4 performance against the Allentown HS Annihilators. The Cripplers took the game, 11-8. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Matt Janousek grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. This season Janousek has hit at a .347 clip and produced 33 runs batted in, 1 home run and 41 runs. |   |
